The following post trying to explain the quick resolution for the Error: An Unhandled Exception Occurred in the Silverlight Application, When you are trying to create the List , Library or anything in the Sharepoint.

It could the Security Validation has been disabled under Web Application General Settings iin Central Administration .Because of that Silverlight application is unable to connect to the WCF endpoint configured by the Product for enabling Client Object Model.

Steps:
Goto Central Administration
Go to Application Management -> Manage Web Applications
Select the Web Application for which we want to enable the Security Validation.  and select General Settings

Set Web Page Security Validation "On" and Save the Changes.

Check Now, Even though if you are getting the same error.s
Check the below options
Check the Silverlight version in the Control Panel.
It would not be version higher like 5.0.0.0
If so, Un install the Microsoft Silverlight(5.0) and install the Silverlight(4.0.50524.0)
