SharePoint Installation: The tool was unable to install application server role web server (IIS) role SharePoint 2013.

HI All,

In this Post, I want to share my experience while installing SharePoint Foundation in Standalone mode for my development activities in my dev machine.

As I don’t have Internet access in my development machine, I have downloaded and installed all the Prerequisites software. But while I am doing the same from SharePoint set up(checking purpose ) I got the below issue .

"The tool was unable to install application server role web server (IIS) role SharePoint 2013."

As usual, Google provided me below link and tried but failed L

Then , I followed the procedure which in mentioned in below Post, I done the installation of Prerequisites without any issues.

After running the script from Powershell, You will get the below window and IIS Server Roles will be installed.
