Activate Telnet Client in Windows Server

Hi All,

In a following post we will see how to Activate Telnet Client in Windows Server. Generally if the Telnet Client is not installed in the server and if you are executing the Telnet commands from the Command Prompt.We will get the below Error.

'Telnet' is not recognized as an internal or external command,operable program or batch file.

To Resolve the above error , We need to Install the Telnet Feature in the Server.

• Open Server manager
• Click on Add roles and features
• Click on Next and select role based or feature based Installation
• Select server from the server pool and click Next
• Skip Roles and click on Next
• Select the Telnet client from the window and click on Next and Install(Feature installation is started)
• After Feature installation succeeded click on Close.

Now execute the command .
