When you are experiencing the BCS in SharePoint 2013. You will face the below issue. After creating the External Content Type and External list .
When you are try to access the List , you will get the below Error.
becoz user don't have permission on External Content Type.
Resolution Steps:
--> Open Central Administration
--> Service Applications - Manage Service Applications
--> Click on BCS Service Application
--> Select your External Content Type and click on Set Permissions
--> Add the user and click on OK
--> Give the permissions for the user and click on OK
Now , Navigate to your list you will be able to see the data.
