In following post we will see how to enable Promoted Links App in Publishing Portal Template in SharePoint 2013.
In Publishing Portal Template we won't find the Promoted Links App unless we activate a feature named as "Team Collaboration Lists"
To Enable , Please follow below steps,

To Enable , Please follow below steps,
- In Publishing Portal site ,Click on Site Settings wheel.
- Under Site Action Category , click on Site Features.
- Activate Team Collaboration Lists feature by clicking on Activate button.
- Now, we can find the "Promoted Links" apps under "Add New App" section.
